Sheck was born in Harlem, New York to Senegalese parents who immigrated to the United States before he was born. The rapper was raised in a Muslim household and his father worked as a tailor in the city.

The day after the draft, Sheck joined a team that competes in France’s LNB Pro A named Paris Basketball. He made his debut the following May, playing just four minutes. In three games played, his averages are 1.3 PPG and 0.7 RPG in seven minutes per game of action.
