Polo G signed with Columbia Records in 2019 following the success his single Pop Out saw on YouTube, racking up over 200 million views and reaching number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The rapper delivered his debut studio album entitled Die a Legend on June 7, 2019. The tape made it to number six on the Billboard 200 and featured popular cuts such as Through da Storm, Effortless, and Dyin’ Breed.
On May 15, 2020, Polo dropped his second studio album entitled The Goat which followed the lead single Go Stupid featuring NLE Choppa. Later that summer, he would be named to the 2020 XXL Freshmen Class.

The rapper has been incarcerated on a couple of different occasions. This past September, he was detained in LA for carrying a concealed weapon. He was released on $35,000 bail.
Prior to that, Polo was arrested in Miami, Florida after weapons were found in the vehicle and he had a scuffle with a police officer. That bond was set for $5,000.
