Early life

Jake Hoot was born on the 7th of July, 1988 in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. He was born to parents, Aaron and Stacey Hoot. Jake grew up with eight siblings. He is the second oldest among them. When he was 9, his family shifted to the Dominican Republic. His parents are Christian missionaries, who continued their mission residing in the Dominican Republic from 1998 to 2008.

Jake started taking interest in singing after moving into a new place. He even learned the guitar and started singing. At the same time, he was also spending more time in sports. In fact, he played the Dominican baseball league for around a year. After some years, he returned back to U. S. and continued his education studying at the house. In 2009, he joined Tennessee Tech University.

Hoot continued his love for sports, as he was a part of Tennessee Tech’s football team during his 1st season in 2010. He held his graduation degree from the University in 2013 majoring in interdisciplinary studies. Initially, he worked at a local media production company. He was also focused on music, and earlier, he spent some time performing with many local gigs.
