In 2007, Hall joined MSNBC and NBC News. Shortly after that, she landed an interview with Barack Obama prior to his presidential run. Eventually, Hall had her very own talk-news show called NewsNation with Tamron Hall.

In 2013, she hosted host Deadline: Crime With Tamron Hall on Investigation Discovery. Hall dedicated the series to her late sister who was tragically murdered years prior.

Between 2014 and 2017, Hall premiered as co-anchor of Today’s Take (The Today Show’s third hour). However, she was later replaced by Megyn Kelly, resulting in Hall leaving NBC.

In 2018, Disney–ABC Domestic Television began producing Hall’s own self-titled daytime talk show. Impressively, Hall has been honored with three Daytime Emmy nominations.

Recently, Hall released her first novel entitled As the Wicked Watch. More installments are set to drop in the future as it served as the first part of the “Jordan Manning” mystery series.

In 2017, Hall began dating music executive Steven Greener. The couple tied the knot two years later and have been together ever since. Currently, they are residing in Harlem, New York. Together, they have one son by the name of Moses Mitchell according to People.

Interestingly, Hall appeared on a 2014 episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls where she and Bear hiked for two days in the Pink Cliffs of southwestern Utah.

Lastly, she made an appearance as herself on the show General Hospital in September 2019.
