Marshawn Terrell Lynch was born in April of 1986 in Oakland, California to parents Maurice Sapp and Delisa. Meanwhile, he has three siblings in total. His brother’s names are Davonte and David, while his sister’s name is Marreesha.

After playing three years at Cal, Lynch was taken 12th overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 2007 NFL Draft. Immediately, he signed a six-year contract worth nearly $19 million. The deal contained a $3 million signing bonus as well as 10.285 million in total guarantees.

In 2010, he was dealt to the Seattle Seahawks, where his legacy would be built. In seven seasons with Seattle, Lynch made over $38 million according to Spotrac.
