The Cleveland Browns selected Manziel with the 22nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Crazily, he was fined $12 thousand for “flipping the bird” before the season even began.

Unfortunately, that was a sign of things to come, as the quarterback spent just two years in the league. Over that span, he started eight games, throwing seven TDs compared to seven INTs.

As far as contracts go, Manziel signed a four-year rookie contract worth $8.2 million in 2014 that included $6.7 million guaranteed and a $4.3 million signing bonus.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Manziel once held endorsement deals with brands like Nike. He also endorsed Nissan, McDonald’s, and Panini America.

After getting released by the Browns in 2016, Manziel joined the Canadian Football League’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Yet, not before nearly two years of negotiations. The Tiger-Cats traded the QB to the Montreal Alouettes after he sat on the bench for six games.

Overall, Manziel has struggled when getting a chance to play in the CFL, the Alliance of American Football, and most recently, in the Fan Controlled Football.
