Joseph Francis Buck was born in April of 1969 in St. Petersburg, Florida to parents Jack and Carole Lintzenich‎. His father was a legendary sportscaster who announced games for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Buck has seven siblings in total. He has brothers Jack Jr. and Dan, as well as sisters Beverly, Christine, Julie, Betsy, and Bonnie.

As far as education goes, Buck graduated from St. Louis Country Day School. Then, he began his broadcasting career in 1989 while earning his undergraduate degree at Indiana University Bloomington.

Just two years after being hired, Buck was named Fox’s lead play-by-play voice for the MLB.

In 2002, the sportscaster became the network’s top play-by-play man for the NFL. Over the years, he called games like Super Bowl XLII, Miracle at the New Meadowlands, Super Bowl LI, the Minneapolis Miracle, and many other memorable moments.

Recently, ESPN signed Buck and his television co-star Troy Aikman to a multi-year deal. They are set to be the broadcast for Monday Night Football in the upcoming NFL season.

According to The Washington Post, Buck makes an annual salary of $15 million from ESPN.

Originally, Buck was married to Ann Archambault, of whom he had two daughters with (Natalie and Trudy). Three years after divorcing in 2011, Buck remarried to ESPN reporter and former Bronco cheerleader Michelle Beisner. They have twin sons together.
