Walker Hayes was born on the 27th of December, 1979 in Mobile, Alabama, United States. Nothing is much revealed in his family and early life. However, we came to know that his father, Charles Hayes was a renowned realtor in Mobile.
For his high school education, he attended the St. Paul’s Episcopal School. Then, he joined Birmingham-Southern College. He came out holding a bachelor’s degree from the College in 2002 with majoring in music.
Hayes along with his wife, Laney, shifted their place to Nashville in 2005. Hayes landed in the new place in a search of opportunities where he could establish himself as a country music singer. At the starting stage, he got a job as a songwriter in the Nashville publishing company. Then, he was signed by the Mercury Records Nashville. However, the record label dropped him quickly.
Walker was then signed to Capitol Records Nashville. He dropped his first song titled “Pants” in 2010, which peaked at No. 60 on the Hot Country Songs chart. On 29 December 2010, he uploaded the video of the song on his self-titled YouTube channel.
Hayes dropped his first studio album titled “Reason to Rhyme” in 2011.
