Monica Lewinsky was born on the 23rd of July, 1973 in San Francisco, California, United States. She spent her childhood days growing up in South California. Monica was born to her parents, Bernard Lewinsky, and Marcia Kay Vilensky. Her parents separated with divorce in 1988, which had a significant effect on her.
Regarding her education, she has studied at the Sinai Akiba Academy, and John Thomas Dye School. For three years, she studied at the Beverly Hills High School, before she was transferred to Bel Air Prep. She came out holding a high school graduation degree in 1991.
Lewinsky later joined Santa Monica College. While studying in college, she was working at a tie shop, and at Beverly Hills High School’s drama department. In 1993, she attended Lewis & Clark College from where she earned Bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1995.

Monica started working as an unpaid intern at the White House after graduation. In December 1995, she got a paid position in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. While she served in the White House, Lewinsky claimed that she had 9 sexual encounters with President Bill Clinton in the Oval office between November 1995 to March 1997.
However, she clarified that it was not sexual intercourse. Clinton has been previously alleged for sexual misconduct while he was serving as the Governor of Arkansas. Monica was transferred to Pentagon in April 1996, where she served as an assistant to Chief Pentagon spokesman, Kenneth Bacon. While working there, she told about her hidden relationship with Clinton to one of the co-workers named Linda Tripp.
