Kroy Evan Biermann was born in September of 1985 in Hardin, Montana to parents Keith and Kathy. Meanwhile, he has a pair of older sisters by the names of Krista and Kelsey.

Interestingly, his parents and immediate family all have names starting with the letter “K”. His mother searched a phone book and ended up choosing the name Kroy to keep with tradition.

While attending Hardin High School in his hometown, Biermann earned a total of eight letters: three in football; three in wrestling; and two in track. Furthermore, he was a First-team All-State pick, while also being team captain his junior and senior seasons as linebacker.

He entered the league with a base salary of $295,000 and a signing bonus of $174,750. Spotrac reports that Biermann made a total of $14,164,518 through his eight seasons in the NFL.

Moreover, he ended his career with 333 tackles and 23.5 sacks. He tallied three forced fumbles, a pair of recoveries, two interceptions, and surprisingly, three touchdowns on defense.

His career came to an end after the Buffalo Bills released him as apart of their final roster cuts.

In November 2011, Biermann married reality television star Kim Zolciak. By this time, their first meeting had already been shown on season three of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and their son Kroy Jagger (KJ) was born.

By November 2013, Kroy and Kim had another son named Kash Kade and a pair of twins named Kaia Rose and Kane Ren. Additionally, Biermann filed to legally adopt Zolciak’s daughters, Brielle and Ariana, who she had with previous partners.
