Haralabos Voulgaris was born on July 4, 1975, in the United States. Not much is known about his early life, parents, and education. He was 18 years of age when he took a year gap between high school and college. Voulgaris then traveled to Greece where he visited the hardscrabble villages, of Argos, and Tripoli. His parents were actually born and raised in a Greece village.
Haralabos’ parents immigrated to Canada in their 20s. Along with his father, he went on a trip to Las Vegas and spent two months at Caesars Palace. His father later became a successful Winnipeg entrepreneur. Likewise, his dad owned and operated a Greek restaurant, Hermes, and developed commercial real estate. His father later became an avid gambler and started betting on horses and sports of all kinds including card games, penny stocks, and dice games.
